Walter E. Clark and Son has been supplying top quality pruning, grafting, and tree care supplies to the industry since 1885. The company began manufacturing “Trowbridge” Grafting Wax when Walter E. Clark received the manufacturing rights to this product as a gift from his father, Everett B. Clark. At that time Walter E. Clark and Son was a contract seed farm for Everett B. Clark  Seed Company. The Grafting Wax business kept them busy during the winter months when the growing season was over.

     We are still located at the original location in Orange, Connecticut where we are the oldest non-farm business in the town. Since that time Walter E. Clark and Son has expanded its market area to include all of North America, as well as customers in South America and Europe. While our product line, and market area has grown since our beginning in 1885, we remain a family run business that emphasizes quality products and personal attention to our customers needs. Through a network of what we feel are some of the best sales representatives in the business we are able to maintain this high level of service to our customers and potential customers on a more local level.  

     As we continue into our second century of business we would like to thank all of our existing customers for their support of our products, and we extend a welcome to any new customers.
